Literature Text

Bottled up
All together in my head
  Confused
   Convulated words,
Trying to say something
Trying to get it out the right way
  A small line
   Single word
       Single thing-
   Starts something
   Words srating to form
Ideas beginning to take shape in written form
And then before you know it-

And then I stop,
and take a look as what I've written
   scared, yet evily joyful
Because I've just put my soul on my page
Written my soul in a way for others to see.

I pause
And spin the pen in my hand
   unsure what to do next
I laugh out loud-
   "Sure, why the hell not?"

UPLOADED TO DA.

why are my hands shaking slightly?
This is a succinct summary of how I feel when I write. This is all 100% true, even the hands shaking slightly part.

Phew, that was weird; talking about the way I write while writing it down; like talking about talking is a little weird.

The two long parts are supposed to continue down the page, but the DA page instead made it take up one long line. Please read those two long parts without any spacing at all. Thanks.

This is how I write too, haha. Well, maybe not. I am very deliberate about my writing and I take my time to make every word or phrase count. Could take me anywhere from a day to a week to write a poem. But! Parts of this ring true for me. I am putting my soul out there for the world to judge, and though that can be frightening at times, it is worth the chance that I may affect someone in a positive way. :+fav:
