A small line

Single thing-
Starts something
Words srating to form
Ideas beginning to take shape in written form
And then before you know it-

yourideasoutontothepaperalmostfearfulifyouslowdownorstopthat
youwilllosethispreciousmomentwithyourbodyhuddledfoward
overthepaperastheinkdrawsyourwordstolifeandyouseeyourcharacterscomeoutatyou.
Theycomeatyoufromseperatepiecesofyoursubconsiuosandthey
takeupthepagewiththeiractionsthoughtsviewsexpressionsacts
ofkindnessmaliceregetwhatthey'vedonenoregretwhatyou'vedone
whenwritingislikelightandthedeathnotewhereinsteadofkillingwithevery
strokeyouarebreathinglifeintoyourcreationsbreathinglifeintoyou-
And then I stop,
and take a look as what I've written
scared, yet evily joyful
Because I've just put my soul on my page
Written my soul in a way for others to see.
I pause
And spin the pen in my hand
unsure what to do next
I laugh out loud-
"Sure, why the hell not?"

This is how I write too, haha. Well, maybe not. I am very deliberate about my writing and I take my time to make every word or phrase count. Could take me anywhere from a day to a week to write a poem. But! Parts of this ring true for me. I am putting my soul out there for the world to judge, and though that can be frightening at times, it is worth the chance that I may affect someone in a positive way.
