Try to keep him down
Been pushin for so long
I feel him comin up
But I gotta stay strong

I can feel him pushing back
Tryin to take control
Like a villian tryin to play
In a good-guy role

I wanna resolve him
But the answer is zero
But I gotta stay hero
And I gotta stay a hero

Cause science cant comprehend
And faith cant explain
This strange machination
Thats growing in my brain

It's an evil twin
From a paralell universe
-The real world piece
Of this dark inverse

"Beautiful to be asleep
With your heart awake-
Its good to see ya here again-
And now yo soul I take"

My people's gonna help me,
I know they're gonna try
But in the end, its just us two-

Yes, im still writing!!! And the next part of CM will be coming VERY SOON!!!! Promise!!! I promise to stop helping other people for a bit! ;-P

This is for a friend of mine (He knows who he is); we had a little competition with each other, and I won =) . We had 2 days to make poetry that rhymed (DAMN! RHYMING IS HARD!!!) and, I guess my turned into a kind of rap ^^;

thanks; it was based off of a friend's....thing....and I cant really decribe it any better ^^; BUt yeah; as you can see, it turned out pretty decent for me rhyming. Thanks for the comment. Were you looking under latest deviations? because i havent seen you before ;-P

Verses five and six are my favorite, but I just like the flow of the poem in general, not just the rhyming, you did very well with keeping proportion of the lines fairly even.

i dont know if you noticed, but i managed to sneak in the word "machination" in there. Yeah, its like my favorite word or something =) Also, "dark inverse" is a thing that references to :iconbethelon: 'd upcoming story of the same name. Good, huh? ;-P
