Vogel and Pengu dashed around the corner, and Vogel stopped Pengu from running by grabbing on his head loop and tugging backwards. Vogel bent over, and tried to regain his breath.

“Wow, that was one angry cat…” Vogel said through gasps for breath.

“Pengu pengu, pen….gu?” Pengu said, still full of energy and ready to run some more.

“Yeah, he was a bit more upset over Karlo making him lose accidentally.” Vogel wiped away a small sweat drop of embarrassment. “So, Pengu, where did that necklace he gave you go?”

“Pengu?” Pengu looked at his empt
